Blood is a cohesive--if slightly comatose--listen, and the songs are of good, uniform quality, but htere isn't much to reward repeated listenings. Any discrnible variety in the songs is usually down to productio f kurusihe, giving hte listenin the distinc impression they've heard the entire album once they reach the halfway poit. Rhye is obviously comforable and confident in what he does, but that should encourage him to experiemnt with his forumale istead of stricly adhering to it.Until he makes that leap, his music is best sered as bacground ose to a limited range of moods and situations.
